Lovely location, nothing else you can wish if you’re a ski enthusiast. Cozy cabins, lovely staff, bad management and overrated facilities. That swimming pool is somewhat a cold bath with a wardrobe used as a sauna. Also not enough lockers and stone cold, i think is just not managed properly. If they sort that would be always full in there.

We had an two room apartment, with the two of us. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We had to walk from the centre of superdevoluy with our gear and bags up to the reception, which opens at 5 p.m. whilst we arrived at 10 in the morning (after an exhausting bus trip). We didn't like that but too much because it was a heavy walk with al our stuff and ski's. When there is enough snow you can ski/snowboard down. Not sure whether it is possible to ski to the apartment. The pool was somewhat a disappointment. It is beautiful but is was dirty, there are no changing rooms (except from toilets) and we thought the water was a bit cold. So comfortable, spacious apartment when there is enough snow to ski down or when you are by car (or if you don't mind climbing up and down the hill).

“Nice chalet, difficult location.”

Just returned from a week here. We had a 2 bed chalet for 5 of us, one in the lounge. Not really enough room for one in the lounge, nowhere to sit, best for 4 max. Clean and warm but you have to pick your linen and pillows up from reception. We returned some as they were stained. Take your towels… more

Just returned from a week here. We had a 2 bed chalet for 5 of us, one in the lounge. Not really enough room for one in the lounge, nowhere to sit, best for 4 max. Clean and warm but you have to pick your linen and pillows up from reception. We returned some as they were stained. Take your towels none are provided. Do not arrive before 5pm as reception is closed and you have nowhere secure to leave your bags. At 5pm the queue to check in is about an hour, very annoying when you have arrived at 11.00am. It is approx half a mile up a windy steep hill or less if you cross the snow from the resort which at night is hilarious but tricky. Competent skiiers can access the slopes from behind the chalets but beginners would have to walk down.There is no kettle or oven, just a hob and dishwasher. Nearest shops, bars etc are in resort which we named Resident Evil, it aint pretty.... bit like Blackpool with snow! However, the slopes are marvellous, wide and open, plenty of choice, beautiful scenery, great for beginners with button lifts everywhere and also challenging blacks and reds if you want them. Check you get the 2014 piste map, we got 2013 and some lifts aren't there, confusing! It is a very French resort. We met no other Brits. The staff in the cafes and restaurants appeared annoyed we were there sometimes, we were certainly never made to feel very welcome but as there was 13 in our group we ignored this. English is not widely spoken and when we spoke French, the attitude did not improve. If the resort would run a courtesy bus up and down the hill it would be a lot easier. If reception was open at normal hours and had a small shop and maybe a cafe/bar this would be a very nice place. I would go back but I would take a car and a kettle and a very big smile to try to charm the staff!
