We booked in at this hotel at the last minute as our original hotel cancelled us hours before our due arrival. However they did us a favour as the stay here was perfect We were warmly welcomed and the staff were so helpful.....our room was spotless , airy and really comfy bed....they even had it ready for us on arrival. Having a lovely pool was a bonus especially as it was very hot. Breakfast was delicious... quality ingredients and homemade produce. Secure parking and very close to centre. Thank you do much for accommodating us and if we are in Saint Remy next year we will definitely return.

This is a small hotel very close to the centre of Saint Remy and to the Museum where Van Gogh lived and is now an interesting museum. The rooms are clean and it is an athmospheric but rather old fashioned hotel. We found the air conditioning eventually worked well but was a little slow. We had a beuatiful balcony overlooking the pool and side streets of the town towards the mountains. Breakfast was good. The staff were mostly very friendly although one member of staff was not so friendly! There is no lift so if you have mobility issues like us then you may need a lower floor. We had been upgraded we think but had actually asked for a lower floor. We would have appreciated kowing about that in advance! In the end we settled for coping with the stairs and enjoying the view. Shower was adequate but over a bath made it hard for us to get in and out. On the whole I would recommend this hotel and hope you meet the friendly and helpful staff!

“Lovely hotel walking distance to town”

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Sophie at the front desk was lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Sophie at the front desk was lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. It was beautiful in the morning before the heat of the day made it impossible to sit outside. Then we moved down to the pool and the shaded garden. The pool is small, but a refreshing break from the sun. My only suggestion: have a set of boules to be borrowed or rented by guests to play Pétanque in the park across the street. We would have loved to have tried it out!

“Delightful”

What a delightful hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was perfect with a nice bag of goodies delivered to our table. The downside was that the large double bed was two singles and kept moving apart..maybe we wriggle a lot....… more
