This hotel is a big structure in Sophia, with the hotel but with some notable facilities for tennis, including buildings for a school. The hotel is well maintained even some tired particulars show that some refreshing works may be needed before summer Room is well furnished, tidy with a very comfortable bed. Silence and calm are good elementa that help good sleeping. Breakfast is rich and with good choices for any kind of food and beverages: I don’t like very much machines for hot beverages like coffee, milk and tea but it appears this is the trend even in 4 stars hotel. A lounge bar and a restaurant are available: had a dinner and found it good and tasty. Last but not least, staff members who are committed, kind and friendly always available for helping customers.

I appreciated the chance to stay at this beautiful hotel, especially given how close it is to the Mouratoglou Academy. The palm tree-lined grounds are gorgeous and the marble lobby is modern. What stood out was Alexandrine at the front desk. She delivers the kind of service that one would experience at the Four Seasons Hotel. Alexandrine went above and beyond to make our visit spectacular! She answered our questions and shared thoughtful info on Antibes, Nice and so much more. One day, she printed out a customized itinerary - in French and English. She became our trusted friend. When she heard that I was celebrating a milestone birthday, she arranged a little (no cost) surprise on the bed - towels and rose petals. Thanks to all those involved! We will return to the area for tennis and wanted to share a few notes that would make it easier for us (and others heading to the Academy) to choose your hotel... 1) Room & spa experience: We booked a modern and spacious room with a balcony. At this price point, as international guests, the setup seemed very minimal. There were no robes, slippers and limited toiletries. For example, one product combined shampoo + conditioner + body wash. We had a 'bad hair' all week. Safety note: the elevated tub was quite slippery so getting in / out could be dangerous for some guests. As for the spa, we enjoyed the sauna and the extra hot tea in the quiet room. Pure bliss! They did provide 'spa slippers.' We were surprised when we were told to bring towels from our room. Luckily, Alexandrine arranged for two robes. The steam room wasn’t as clean as it should have been on two or three visits. 2) Dining: The buffet breakfast on the lower level was overrated and overpriced for what it offered. We had a group dinner at the restaurant one night and it was one of the highlights of the week. It was so convenient and comfortable to gather with our tennis group. The Mediterranean meals were fresh and delicious. The service was smooth. 3) Check-out logistics: Our final day of camp ran until 4 pm. I learned that the hotel was closing for the holidays at noon. I completely understand that there were staffing and timing constraints. But from a tennis guest perspective, it was awkward to vacate the room by noon and the hotel property by 3 pm. The option of showering with a dozen people in the spa did not make sense. We did not want to be stuck in sweaty tennis clothes so we reluctantly had to miss the last afternoon of our tennis camp. That way, we could shower and pack our bags...well ahead of our 9 pm flight from Nice. With a few tweaks, this could be a 5-star experience but I found the hotel to be overpriced for what was offered. A special thanks to the team at the hotel, especially Alexandrine, for making our stay comfortable.

I stayed here mainly for the convenience of attending the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, where my adult program ran from 7 AM to around 4 PM for five days. The hotel is decent and the food was good. My room had a bathtub, which was very helpful for recovery after long training days (I even brought Epsom salt for hot soaks). A big improvement would be to have washing machines available, as sweaty tennis clothes quickly pile up during camp. The biggest advantage is location—if your main reason is the tennis camp, this hotel is ideal since it’s right next to the academy. If tennis isn’t your priority, you may want to consider other accommodations with more entertainment options and plan to rent a car. Regarding the tennis camp (adult program), the experience depends heavily on the group you’re placed with for the week. Skill levels vary greatly, and in my case, the overall level felt below my home-country rating. For beginners, it’s a great fit. For intermediate and advanced players seeking to refine techniques, game strategies, and get the “Mouratoglou” experience, it may not fully meet expectations. On a positive note, the private lesson I booked was excellent—personalized, professional, and definitely the highlight of my training week.
