“Epic, adventurous, fun, land of smiles. Defo worth visiting.”
The staff were absolutely amazing, very welcoming, polite, respectful. The pool was cleaned day & night, thanks to vitaly, who was an amazing host for our 7 days. “Home from home”
Absolutely spotless, lovely sized rooms with ensuite in all. Lovely grounds and public areas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Peaceful atmosphere. A little of the beaten track but worth the travel. Host has details of reliable taxi drivers. Breakfast enjoyable.

Villa Calliandra is run by Christiane from Belgium. She is very hospitable. The rooms are great and it is a great joy to use the pool in the back of the house courtyard after visiting any of the nearby sights. I can sincely recommend a stay here!!!! Lovely villa, fabulous pool & treated like family. An absolute gem- away from all the hustle & bustle but close enough to get around! Rooms very clean & all staff helpful & very friendly.Would def recommend!

“Perfect base to move around”
Nice and tidy Bed & Breakfast, friendly staff and good breakfast. Perfect location to explore the Gambia. Also ask for tips or ideas to enjoy the different activities the Gambia has to offer. Would recommend villa calliandra to others
