“STILL GOOD”

Stayed here on business for 2 days. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room was comfortable and quiet. Price is good and only a relatively short walk into town. Free WiFi is provided. I did not eat this time but I am sure the standard is as good as before

Stayed here on business whilst visiting my HQ. Hotel is very clean, rooms are comfortable and sleep was OK. Breakfast was a really good selection and just as good as any hotel that charges €25. Here, though, you will pay €5 and have fresh eggs cooked as you like. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. For the price you cannot complain, very good.

“Quiet, sweet stay”

A large group of us overnighted at this hotel, as we attended a conference nearby. This review is from a US perspective. The hotel is very quaint and quiet. The staff understood and spoke enough English to be helpful and were very friendly and polite. The rooms were warm, with no air conditioning. Some rooms are supplied with a small personal fan to circulate air. The area was safe, enabling us to leave windows open for fresh air to come in (no screens). The bathroom was a decent size with a small enclosed corner European shower, with the sliding shower head (perfect for us short persons). Beds were comfortable and the room was large enough for 2 people to move around, dress and sit and relax with 2 additional sitting chairs and a desk. An armour is in the room to unpack. Only negative besides the heat was that there was not a full-length mirror in the room or bathroom. The breakfast was delicious each morning with a spread including bread (with a toaster), meats, cheeses, veggies, cereals, yogurt (fruit & plain) and different toppings to add. Coffee, orange juice and teas are available. Decaf upon request. Eggs are made fresh per request, scrambled or fried. The server in the breakfast room is a delightful woman eager to please and serve the guests. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk to the downtown area, the train and the very large park directly across the street. The decor is a bit dated but very European. There is a vending machine for snacks, soda, water and beer in the lobby. The front office is not always open, but a key is supplied to enter through the back during closed hours. An elevator is on-site, and well as stairs. Some rooms have a small balcony. I would stay again if ever in the area. Wi-Fi worked well.

“Nice weekend”

Overall a very good hotel, except for if you want ham and eggs for breakfast (it´s included) you should ask for "späcke" because the breakfast personel aren´t very good in english. The hotel within 10 min walking distance from railwaystation and centre of town with a very big and nice park closeby.
