“Winterhalter”
Really good hotel, with friendly staff, and tasty food. Really good if you would like to go out from a big city. A good place to go to the forest as well. All around forest. Quite far from stutgart or frankfurt.

“Black Forest Gem”
What a wonderful place. Family owned and impeccable. Highly recommend for agent away in the forest. Great services and the food is wonderful. Easy to get to and central to many small villages. Thank you for a great couple of nights.

“Exccelnt hotel”
We came late at night and the owner himself came to welcome us. The time was 2 am. The breakfast is good, the service good, clean rooms and facility. Very recommended to stay in for any occasion. The rooms are wide and comfortable big bath with sauna.

Staff were very kind, the beds were terrible (very hard) and the food was okay (several options every day). We staid 1 week, most guests only a few nights - passing through the Black Forest. Our room was next to the front desk and therefor rather noisy. Nights were quiet. Television was too small … more

Although nicely situated in the Black Forest, overlooking a green valley and a fortress ruin in the distance, the hotel itself is, at most, average.
