The parking situation is so nice. No extra costs and in front of the building. Room was really, really, really hot and the vent did not help. No TV, so time for reading or wifi time. Wifi and breakfast included. Interior, well, basic. Great sunset from the second floor from the balcony (emergency door). There is fridge with cold drinks and you write down what you had and when checking out you pay for that ( thanks for the trust you have towards your guests!!!)

Very pleasant property in a lovely garden. Very quiet, modern and comfortable. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Well located and not too pricy.

We booked this hotel as we just needed somewhere to stay for the night with car parking, so can’t really comment on the location in Freiburg… You’re greeted at reception with free gummy bears and a homemade drink (they had a grenadine mix one day, and homemade lemonade the next). There’s free parking right outside as well. The room and bathroom were both huge! The bed was pretty uncomfortable though, and it was just two singles pushed together. But it wasn’t just two mattresses, it was actually two beds, so you had to keep it as two separate beds because the wooden bed frames were in the middle. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable as well. Check-out is 9:30am on weekdays which we only found out after checking the information book in the room! Very early, but I’m sure they can arrange something for you if you need to leave later? Just an assumption though. Breakfast is included, but it’s pretty basic. They have boiled and scrambled eggs and bacon, yoghurt with a variety of toppings, and a couple of pretzel varieties. Their one-button coffee machine is actually not bad (€1 if you come outside of breakfast time, there’s no in-room kettle).

I stayed here as part of a conference and while it was serviceable, everything about my stay was also a bit grim. The room, for a solo occupant (einzelzimmer standard), was tiny but quiet, except for the very loud pipes. This being said, the price was exorbitant for what it was (a single bed, in a tiny room with a tinier en-suite). I was rudely awoken at 7:45am by one of the cleaning staff coming into my room without knocking and leaving without apologizing... so that was a bit of a shock, and definitely made me feel that my room was not my own private space. The view from the main building was breathtaking, especially at sunset. The location was okay, but hard to get to without a car: it involved a steep uphill climb and was a 30-minute walk from the train station (a 20-minute walk into the old town). The breakfast and hotel lunch were only ok, but the BBQ dinner was superb. The whole experience was fine for one night under the auspice of the conference, but I wouldn't stay for longer.
