The Hotel is located nicely in central Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast option is up to the standard. There is, however, no AC working. "It is not hot enough". There was 26 degrees celsius in the night in my room and no AC. Opening windows is also not an option as downstairs there are people smoking, so you either choose to be smoked or bowled. The soap/shampoo/lotion are slightly below standard, the containers were 3/4 empty and there was no hair lotion. No typical hotel slippers, too. In general this is a 2-3 star solid standard. If you get a fair price, it is worth staying at, but avoid in summer.

Location - easy to find but lots of overflowing bins outside the annex which made the areas look less appealing. Staff - excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Room - we were in the annex. Obviously newer part of the hotel. Room comfortable, all the amenities for overnight stay. I cannot remember… more

Location - easy to find but lots of overflowing bins outside the annex which made the areas look less appealing. Staff - excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Room - we were in the annex. Obviously newer part of the hotel. Room comfortable, all the amenities for overnight stay. I cannot remember the room number but it started with 5. Enter building and the lift and look for the 5th floor, our room appeared to be in the 'basement', so after the shortest lift drop we arrive at our room, a mere 5 steps below ground level. We did have a view out but as the weather was threatening we didn't... Breakfast - super selection of fresh food. Decor of restaurant was a bit dated (same comment for hotel foyer). Clean. We took advantage of the parking - would've been slightly problematic with a 5m long Saab to access the garage, no problem for a Golf. Will go again, just hope the binmen have been.

Good quality accommodation, service and food throughout our stay while visiting the local exhibition halls. Good quality accommodation, service and food throughout our stay while visiting the local exhibition halls. Across two buildings (we were housed in the annexe) which are immaculately maintained with housekeeping doing a great job. Breakfast has a great range of freshly prepared food which was a surprise and enjoyed! All staff members super efficient, friendly and attentive. Many thanks!

“Good for one night, no more”

The hotel is humdrum in every respect. Its location off the center city together with its parking garage are convenient. And unfortunately, the city itself has become a shadow of its former self - not very clean, people sleeping on the sidewalks, etc.
