“basic business hotel”
As others have said, clean. Quiet and room size acceptable. Small bathroom, but I have seen worse. They even give you a bottle of water and some jelly beans in the room. Hotel was clean and quiet, decor was a bit dated but adequate for a base. Switzerland is just a 5min walk over the hill where a tram will take you into Basel. Plenty of public transport around.
