“Choice Is Yours”

It was the first time I was travelling to this area of Germany. I had a very busy business schedule and I preferred to stay in Buechlberg instead of Passau as the company I visited was very close. The good facts was the friendly staff, the traditional decoration, probably delicious Bavarian food (altough didn't eat there), own parking area, the natural habitat around, a tiny biergarten, etc. Unfortunately the negative facts seems to be a cause of non-preference for the future. The breakfast was not satisfactory to me. Not too many choices. The coffee that was readily available in a pot on the table had a bad taste. I always drink it black and I had to pour a lot of milk on it to have a drinkable taste at least. The property has two main sites. First one is the reception and restaurant area and the other is the rooms outside this main administrative building. The wireless in the rooms were definitely very slow and was failing many times so you had to change your position to catch the signal :) The funny thing about the issue was that there was a perfect speed in reception/restaurant area. For that reason, I took my computer and went to the dining area to work and have a few bottles of bier. However, it was around 23:00 when I was asked to pay for the drinks because they were closing it. So I paid and worked about 15 more minutes till the last guests had left the restaurant. Then I went back to my room. As the connection was terrible, I had to take my computer and walk to the main building (doors were locked at that time) and had to sit on a bank next to the entrance of this building to continue my business tasks with an acceptable speed of internet. The rooms had no air conditioning. When you travel in July and additionally if there is an extraordinarily hot weather in this area, it is difficult to sleep comfortably although the bad is more comfortable than your expectation. There was a tiny TV on the room but the location of TV was not in a good design. It is sat on a desk paralel to your bed, so it is not a regular way of watching something while you rest in your bed. The bathroom, and especially the bathtub was very small. There was soap inside but no shower gel and/or shampoo !!! As a result, the property have goods and bads and a visitor can make his own choice paralel to the expectations. Frankly speaking, I will be from the ones that will prefer to stay in Passau instead.
