“Delicious Surprise Lunch”
While on a Viking Cruise there had been a collision between two river barges that prevented all other ships passing so while we were touring Passau, the ships crew unloaded all the passengers belongings (which we had previously packed) and transported around the river obstacles and put in our 'new'… more

“A very nice place to discover !”
I will come back in this charming hotel. People are nice, rooms are pretty, foods are good,... What else ! Perhaps far from the city center of Passau as few customers say but so near nature. Wonderful

“A romantic retreat - great service and superb quality of the infrastructure”
The Waldschloss was kind of a surprise for us. In a winter night, with snow falling and little outside of Passau, it was the warmest place possible to spend a night at. “VERY NICE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT IN PASSAU, GERMANY”
The Waldschloss Hotel and Restaurant is on the edge of Passau, Germany right on the border with Austria. We had a nice room with a view on the 3rd floor. “Renovated old house in the middle of nowhere”
Superb old house, nicely renovated & decorated, probably a great place for a wedding party. Too bad it is located too far away for walking into the old city. Too expensive for its location and the offered facilities. Extremely clean, friendly staff, average breakfast.
