Stayed in Ibis for 3 nights. Summary as below: 1. Room : Stayed in the room on 6th floor. Size was decent. So it was a pleasant surprise. Unlike the small box rooms you expect in Ibis hotels. For ironing clothes, you need to use the common facility on 3rd floor. Bathroom was typical Ibis size. 2. Breakfast : Being from India, you dont expect much choice. Was the standard buffet spread we are used to across all hotels in Europe. You can always eat right opposite at Berlin central stn if you are not fussy about eating in the hotel itself. 3. Location is the biggest plus of the hotel and thats why we chose Ibis. It is 3 mins walk from Berlin HBF. You get Tram and bus connections as well. L’Osteria pizza place (great option for vegetarians) and Coffee Fellows cafe are right opposite the hotel. You will get number of options in the train station as well which actually resembles a mall with a train station in it. Overall very satisfied with our stay. You obviously cannot expect luxury or amenities in a Ibis hotel. Its more about convenience.

Fantastic location. Right next to the main station, loads of trains, trams, and underground. Best of all, fast train to the airport. Fantastic location. Right next to the main station, loads of trains, trams, and underground. Best of all, fast train to the airport. Most tourist things are a walk or short train/tram/underground journey (single ticket covers all forms of transport, don’t forget to validate your tickets). The breakfast at this hotel is the star of the show. Everything you could want. The room was not large, but it was clean, the bed a little firmer than I like, but we slept very well. The staff are really nice and helpful, most speak excellent English, and I suspect French after we were talking about the French gender of chocolate. They allowed us into the room early, which was nice, and they have luggage storage, so you can dump your suitcases on check out day. Short break to see the Berlin sites, book this hotel, excellent location, excellent breakfast, and lovely staff.

Three night stay here and I can’t really knock it. The location is really good as it’s opposite Berlin Central Station so 25 minutes from the Airport and then trains access to all over Berlin, Germany and even neighbouring countries. On foot you are 15 to 20 minutes from Mitte and the sites so an ideal sightseeing spot for a good price. The hotel is quiet, small and the rooms functional and clean. It’s a 3 star and it’s fair but a good 3. Only the bedroom carpets maybe have seen better days. Very comfortable beds and an ideal place to sleep. Not really a spend the day hotel but it’s not designed to be. Self serve drinks and coffee at sensible prices in the reception area much like a shop. There is a restaurant we didn’t have breakfast here but it certainly looked a nice place. Overall ideal spot for visiting Berlin.

The Ibis in Berlin is across the street from the main train station and multiple subway and tram stops. Unfortunately, this means that lots of street activity can cause the room to be noisy at night (think sirens on a major thoroughfare). Our room was tiny but functional and modern. Our included breakfast was good and allows you to squeeze your own orange juice!
