“Spacious and delightful”
This hotel has been beautifully renovated from a former school to a modern hotel. The furnishings are new and our room was unusually spacious for a German hotel. “A comfortable room”
The Penison offers good value with very good decor and bedroom space. The breakfast typical fare serviced in a nice breakfast room. The only drawback it’s that it’s a good 15mins walk into the town centre or get the bus.

This hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Eisenach and a half-hour steep climb to the Wartbug Castle.
