Very convenient for the Festspiele, in the centre of town, with its own car park. Our room on the second floor was comfortable and clean and the wi-fi worked well. “Large room and nice breakfast”
We had a nice and quiet room. I'm tall, so I had to watch my head in this old building but that's part of the charm. Very good selection for breakfast, with made-to-order scrambled eggs. Not cheap but worth the money, we felt. We also had a very good dinner in the outside area on the square.

“Tasty and regional”
The food is delicious and regional based with a wide variety on the menu for ever taste. The service is a little slow and we did wait quite a bit for our drinks and a top up went unnoticed. “Gorgeous and history rich!”
Unique and filled with history! Great unique hotel that’s over 600 years old with support pillars of 1000 years. Friendly staff and parking at the back for free and safe. My men arrived on their bicycles and they are also safe in the bike hold.
