“Good value, close to the train station”

B&B hotels is a good value, and an easy walk from the train station. Google told me to walk along a route with no sidewalks, but it's barely longer to walk thru the center city to get there, and a much nicer and more comfortable walk. B&B hotels is a good value, and an easy walk from the train station. Google told me to walk along a route with no sidewalks, but it's barely longer to walk thru the center city to get there, and a much nicer and more comfortable walk. (That was easy with my rolling suitcase.) The staff spoke English, and check in was easy. You enter the rooms with a code, not an object, so there's no checkout, you just leave by noon. My room was clean, and faced away from the train tracks. Someone at breakfast complained they heard trains all night, but my room was fine. (I picked the hotel because it was close to the train station, though.) There were convenient power outlets. Storage for clothing, etc., might have been tight for two people. Breakfast was a typical German breakfast. Some of the platters were empty by the time i got there. Other guests found staff and got some of them refilled. (I found enough options from what was remaining.) I will probably choose this hotel in the future.

I had low expectations for this hotel, the first time I was going to stay at the hotel chain and I received email saying that there might not be any staff at the hotel. However, my worries disappeared immediately, there were staff who checked us in and we got a nice room. The hotel is quite close to the central station and the train tracks but we didn't hear a train during the whole night. The hotel is located in a slightly run-down area.

“Basic - the hotel equivalent of Easyjet!”

Clean, polite, helpful staff and well situated: close to railway station and town centre (in fact opposite an interesting historic cemetery!) The cheapest hotel breakfasts we found during our entire trip.
