“Great Place to relax and eat. Worth the little distance from Center”
This is a great hotel. You need to take the number 7 bus from the train station. and walk 150 meters. Believe me it is worth it. Rooms are large, clean, and have a little patio. Shower is excellent. We came to Schwerin for the weekend and stopped here for a light meal (we could have had a lot more) in the middle of an afternoon bike ride. “Quiet hotel in the countryside near Schwerin”
This hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the center of Schwerin. The benefit is the quiet location. There is a bus which stops in front of the hotel to take you into town as well. “Fontaine Restaurant”
The restaurant attached to the Hotel Arte is excellent. It's very smart, the food is terrific and the staff are lovely. English is spoken which was not so common in this part of Germany. Good car parking too. An oasis off the busy ring road with some terrific thatched properties nearby.
