“Close to city center and Rhine promenade, friendly staff”

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and sunny, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The location is close to the town center (e.g., a 10-min walk to Beethoven Haus) and the Rhine promenade. Although noise was not a problem, the windows were soundproof. Breakfast was available for a minimal extra charge, but we did not try it. Dinner is also available in an adjacent restaurant. The only downside was the absence of an elevator, which could be a deal breaker for some guests. It was not a problem for us even though our room was on the third floor (we had 1 small suitcase each).

“Business trip with ups and downs”

+ location was great, right next to tram + yound lady at reception was super sweet and helpful + room was modern and comfortable + TV with USB - possible to watch own movies - I booked apartment - for me, that means two separate rooms. we were supposed to be 3 people, than at the end we were only 2. our stay would be really bad if we were 3, because we got a regular room with big bed and extra couch. it was a business trip for 6 nights. The only thing that reminded it to be an apartment was a tiny kitchen - in 6 nights, not once, came someone to clean the room. we had to request toilet paper in the main building, and later had to get one on our own. we were said that in the apartment that is not ususal.....but at the end we were offered complimentary breakfast (but we alaready ate) - first night was veeery cold, we had to go buy new warm cloths for the rest of our stay.

“Attentive staff, good breakfast”

We were given three beds although our reservation was for four beds. Next morning the staff corrected this by giving us the fourth bed in a different room and also added breakfast for one day. We were given three beds although our reservation was for four beds. Next morning the staff corrected this by giving us the fourth bed in a different room and also added breakfast for one day. There is no elevator in the hotel. We did not expect that. Wish there is a mention of this on their website or on Priceline.com so we could prepare accordingly. We had to carry heavy luggages up and down the stairs three floors.

“Apartment not located in hotel....”

We stayed here after our trip to Bruges. Family of 4 with dog. We arrived at the hotel to be told we have booked a appartment, brilliant (we thought) we are then given directions to where the apartment is located (bit of a shock to not be at the same location as the hotel, although only 5 mins around the cornor) Get to apartment block, first impressions not good. Walk in, stinks of smoke, all looks a little grubby and not sure it’s only hotel guest or just that the hotel have purchased a few apartments in the block. Get to our room not expecting much, pleasently surprised. Room is clean and modern has small kitchen area & all feels very nice. View from room (terrible) basically looks onto other apparetments, quite a lot of road noise & curtains don’t fit the window so looks like we’re in for an early start with 2 kids. Offered breakfast but we would have to walk back around the cornor to the hotel (not ideal) Had I realised the apartment was completely separate to the hotel would I have booked..No! More like an air B&B at a hotel price. Overall, ok if you just need somewhere to put your head for the night, free WiFi, good TV with Netflix and good facilities. However when you book a hotel you expect to stay in the hotel, not near by so can’t help but feel disappointed.
