This has to be one of the coolest hotels I've ever been in. First, the location. The hotel is actually IN the famous Zollverein historic coal and coke complex. “So unique in such a great area!”
This is a very special and fine hotel! Hotel Friends at the Zeche Zollverein in Essen has its own design! Great architecture and good styling! Friendly service . The rooms are special. We loved the jr suite! Great decor. If you are in that area, go and visit and stay!
