“Great Resturant inside an Amazing Hotel”
I highly recommend the Das Krimihotel restaurant/bar for it's excellent service, great food and good prices. While I never stayed in the hotel, the lobby is quite amazing is worth a look before or after you eat.

“A quaint and charming theme hotel”
Hillesheim doesn't have too much to offer the visiting tourist, but it is one of the crime-fiction capitals of Germany. “I had only a drink at Das Krimihotel, but....”
The exterior of the building striked my eye and we wanted to have a look inside. The decoration and interior made me think of an old film noir or a Hitch cock movie. I really liked the concept! “Came for food only, and pretty ok”
We had the burger. 340 grams burger. It took a long time ( 30 minutes) but it was huge. The fries weren’t good but the burger itself was ok. It was massive, not sure why; I could not finish it. Toilets were clean and the service was friendly.

“Nice Hotel, but need some TLC”
Nice place to stay, but Need some resauration. Everything was clean. Waitress was alone and very busy. Took a while to get Service. Would go there again. Nice Area araound ( Eifel ) for Walking, Quiet Little town, easy to find
