“Good hotel for buisness travelers”

Arriving at the hotel close to the highway you can park your car on a covered parking. This makes unloading comfortable if it's raining. The employee at the reception was extremely nice. Unfortunately she was alone so that check-in took quite a long time. The room was big enough and very clean. If you want to use the fitness room, you can store your belongings in a locker. Note, that you need a one euro coin. Fitness devices are OK. The treadmill needs to be refurbished. Fitness room is very warm but there's a window you can open. The Sauna area is very nice and the view from the sauna through the window is something special. Extra towels for sauna and fitness you receive free of charge at the reception desk. Although if I was very late at the breakfast there was nothing I missed. Even fresh fruit salad was made for the last 15 Minutes of breakfast time. Very nice. I chose this hotel because it is NOT in the city center. This was perfect for my travel plan of the next day. For me it's not understandable that people claim the location. It is visible in the map during booking.

We were in town to watch the Leipzig Icefighters hockey team . We stayed at the Atlanta which is located just outside of the city . What a great choice . The staff of the Atanta were excellent . The front desk staff were the most accomodating I have ever encountered . Wake up calls , taxis , food and attraction recommendations and above all willingness to store our bags when we checked out for a couple of dsys on a side trip . The integrity of the staff was beyond . I had to chase a cleaner to give her a tip that she cleaned around . Breakfast and dinner were great . Jana our late dinner server actually read the entire menu to us 6 of us sat down just before the kitchen closed . She was super . The hotel was clean . The staff superb . Next door is a Costco style store and a gas bar . Cant say enough about the staff and the service . We will be back .

Me and my boyfriend spent 2 nights in the Atlanta Hotel, the hotel did what it needed to do for us. The room was clean, the bathroom was beautiful. The rest of the hotel room appeared to need updating as it seemed and felt old in its decor. The location is not what I had expected although I could have done more research before booking (it was part of a multi trip). It is based in the middle of an industrial park with and Aldi and Pizzeria close by and that is all. It was easy enough to get onto the bus and tram but you certainly can't walk anywhere - just take that in mind if it bothers you. We used the spa, it was nice, nothing fancy but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Breakfast lacked options but the food I did have was OK. Lack of toaster and fruit options (just apples). A good choice of hotel If you're looking to be out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Germany.

We went to Leipzig for a conference and sadly the Atlanta hotel is relatively far away from the city center, so we didn’t get to see a lot of the city. The staff at reception was very competent and very friendly. Our room was exactely what we expected with a surprisingly large bathroom. The breakfast buffet has a great selection. The Internet speed however is horrible and you could only get faster for a fee which seemed very old-fashioned.

I guess it's OK for a one night stop. Leipzig center is not close but you can get away with a cab; by bus an tram, the trip takes more than 30 minutes so location isn't great. However, there are plenty of supermarkets and stores around the hotel if you need anything. Room was generally clean although I spotted some spider nets around the curtain. What was really confusing was the service, which was terrible because it was very rude; both ladies from reception were obviously deranged when asked simple questions like how to get into Leipzig with public transportation. I get it they maybe have this question many times but this doesn't excuse their rude and arrogant behaviour. I would avoid next time if I'd be in the area, I'd look for a hotel in actual Leipzig because there isn't much to offer to compensate the location which is quite far of downtown (is actually in another neighbouring town). Breakfast was good and assorted for all tastes.
