“Basic friendly Gasthaus for overnight stay”
The best value for this small hotel is that it is very compact, everything you need for a good overnight stay is right there: spacious room, nice restaurant and a very friendly bar to relax after a long day of driving. “Nice Hotel”
Two nights around Buchholz....I had a renovated room, ask for these rooms.....small bathrooms, all clean, great restaurant ...didn't see safe parking for those that have to park there car safe. Friendly service and great breakfast. Defiantly coming back here.

“Nice experience outside of Hamburg”
Small hotel, the city is reachable by public transportation then to th ehotel itself a taxi is needed. Liked the food - dinner and breakfast. Price is ok - rooms large, free WiFi, bathroom clean but seems to be a little bit older. Beds are good.

Having to stop one night in Buchholz in der Nordheide, I made a short research. Best deal was the Hotel "Zur Eiche", on the border between the city and the industrial zone.
