“Immaculate, quiet, convenient”

This hotel is quiet and immaculate. Staff are charming. Very convenient for St Michaels, St Pauli, waterfront buses, fish market, Hafencity, Miniatur Wunderland...all within walking distance for able persons. Good breakfast. So clean everywhere

I regularly stay at Premier Inn in the UK when travelling for work. I like that you generally know what to expect, and pricing is usually very competitive. I usually stay elsewhere in Hamburg, but I thought I would give it a go here as it is well-located close to the Reeperbahn and Millerntor stadium. We had an issue where our flight was cancelled late on the Friday night we were due to arrive, so we only ended up staying one night. Our rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I plan to return here on my next visit to Hamburg.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a family room (2 adults & 2 kids). The room was on the third floor. We didn’t find anything wrong - air con ✅ clean ✅ beds comfortable ✅ quiet ✅ nice breakfasts ✅ bar with happy hour between 17.00 & 19.00 ✅ friendly staff ✅ good location ✅. The rooms/towels didn’t get cleaned every day, but we were provided with fresh towels when we asked at reception - this was fine for us We tend to stay at premier inn whenever we go away if it’s available as we know what we’re getting and never had any issues

Overall, an acceptable stay at this budget hotel. Check in was quick and we were allocated a room on the first floor. Initial impressions of the room were not good, the room was extremely small, obvious stains on the carpet as if something had been spilled and large marks/scuffs on the painted white walls. There were no drawers to put clothes in and a very small/compact hanging rail. The window in the room overlooked an overgrown waste ground. Given we didn’t intend to spend a lot of time in the room we accepted it for the relatively low price we paid. The bed was comfortable, as expected with premier Inn and the shower/bathroom area was clean and usable. Shower door did not close properly resulting in shower water escaping and flooding the bathroom. On our second day we returned to the room late afternoon, 4pm to discover housekeeping had not been and the used wet towels from that morning remained. Quite annoying given we wanted to return to shower. I went to reception to be told they would get someone to change the towels, no timeframe given so we just left the hotel again. When we returned later that evening the towels had been changed. A budget hotel and acceptable for the price. I would not stay here again given the issues we faced.
