We had a wonderful stay at Acropolis View Hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. The location was fantastic — just a short walk from all the major tourist hotspots, including the Acropolis and surrounding historic areas. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering how central it is. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, but everything available was fresh and perfectly adequate to start the day. The real highlight, though, was the rooftop terrace. The view overlooking the Acropolis is simply breathtaking — especially in the evening when it’s beautifully lit up. That alone made the stay extra special. Overall, a great experience and an excellent choice for anyone wanting comfort & convenience. Would happily come back again.

We stayed here for 5 nights over new years. The hotel location is fantastic, with amazing views of the acropolis. It's easy to get to all of the hotspots by foot or by the nearby underground. Our triple room was a relatively good size, but we struggled a little with the minimal storage especially drawers. The room was kept very clean with a daily maid service. Reception staff were very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The big downsize for us was the breakfast experience. The area is very small with limited inside seating, so we had to wait for a table to come free & were not able to sit together on multiple occasions (group of 3). The breakfast choice is relatively basic with a high focus on cold pastries & fruit / meat / yoghurts. What was a real disappointment was the attitude of the staff. I asked for a plate as there were none & was met with eye rolling & tuts followed by something I assume negative in Greek. Given the area is busy we were also asked to vacate our table whilst we were still finishing our coffees. We enjoy a relaxing breakfast with a good atmosphere but this was not the case & due to this we would not return to this hotel again which is a shame.

The hotel is in a great position and the views from the rooftop terrace and top floor rooms ( we were on the 5th floor ) are breathtaking . The reception staff were friendly but the staff in the breakfast room barely acknowledged your presence. We had breakfast every day and it was absolutely fantastic, plenty of choice of hot and cold food as well as delicious bread and pastries. The coffee was also very good. The reason for only 3 stars - the rooms ! Yes they were very clean and had a fridge ,safe ,tea and coffee tray etc but no way of cooling or warming the room up unless you had the doors to the balcony open - but this meant the road noise was very intrusive. The room was incredibly dark and it was impossible to shave or apply make up in the shower room due to practically no lighting. However the shower was very powerful and plenty of hot water day and night. The worst part was the size of the room so , so small. In order to cross from one side of the room to another you had to shuffle sideways along the bottom of the bed making sure you ducked under the TV ! The balcony was a bonus but you had to lean over the side to see the Acropolis ,we had assumed you would be able to see it whilst sitting on the chairs on the balcony.
