We were a family of four adults with a small child. Being first-time visitors, we wanted to avoid transportation with child to the major sites. This hotel is located at a central accessible location in Plaka that provided walkable distance to Acropolis, National Gardens, Monstariki flea market, Zeus temple, Hadrian arch. The best feature - supportive staff. The areas of improvement- breakfast spread. Could do with serving variety in egg servings and hot croissants. Otherwise I would have rated five.

“Perfect location for exploring Athens”

Perfect location in Plaka near to a huge choice of restaurants and with a view of the Acropolis from our room. 5 mins walk to the Acropolis entrance. Good breakfast with a range of cereals, bread, cheese, etc plus juices and hot drinks Family room was clean and a good size with actually a separate room with a bunk bed for the children. Comfy mattresses. Helpful to have a fridge in the room too. Friendly helpful staff. No car park at the hotel but they arranged a space at a parking lot 2 minutes walk away gor us (€30/day) Cool roof terrace where we sat to have our lunch one day. Tiled floors everywhere means the sound echoes from corridors into rooms, but also people could learn to talk quieter and more considerately!!

“My Greek odyssey”

The small hotel for a very reasonable price, walking distance to Acropolis,Syntagma square, national gardens and Monastiraki, you can also leave your luggage in a locker when you have a late plane to catch.You can also have a great night on the rooftop with a n amazing view

The location and view from the hotel are definitely the highlights — really beautiful and convenient. The balcony was also lovely and a nice spot to relax. The room itself was fairly clean and of normal standard — nothing fancy but acceptable. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin and the rooms are extremely noisy. You can hear almost everything from the hallway, including children and loud conversations even late at night, which makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. When telling the stuff the next day about how we felt at night, we got the feeling that’s even wrong to complain about.. not a great feeling as a guest. Breakfast was nothing special. What really bothered us was that the staff often seemed distracted — they were even watching loud videos on their phones right next to the breakfast area. When arriving at the normal breakfast time, the buffet wasn’t always ready, and the atmosphere made you feel like you were disturbing them, especially on weekends. During the week, however, a different lady took care of breakfast and she was absolutely lovely — more friendly and a little bit more attentive than the men at the weekend. Even the woman at the reception was also quite nice. Overall, it’s an okay place if you don’t have high expectations — good location and view, but with some clear areas for improvement in service and soundproofing.
