We recently stayed at the hotel for a short break and I would absolutely recommend this as a great place to stay. The location is perfect, close to main attractions, safe at night, not too loud, not too quiet and a huge range of great places to eat. Staff were all excellent, particularly on reception and concierge who all provided great advice and were super helpful. Rooms are a nice size, very clean, well equipped and all to a high standard. Comes with safe, coffee machine, good storage and lively bathroom with good products. Breakfast very good, great choice of options both local and international. You can eat really well and again service was excellent and the view of the acropolis brilliant. Did not use roof top pool due to weather but the spa is also very good providing you book in advance. Pool is small and not the warmest but is good enough along with the sauna and steam room. Again, service very good. This is a great hotel, I’d stay here again anytime and would recommend highly.

This hotel is absolutely one of the best we have stayed at. Definitely the best we have stayed at in Athens. We stayed in a Superior Double Room and it had plenty of space. The room was very clean and tidy as would be expected and had a very big bathroom with walk in shower. The fee included the exceptional buffet breakfast in the rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the Acropolis. If possible I'd give the breakfast 11 out of 10. The hotel itself is very clean and well set out. The staff were excellent and always helpful. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

I proposed to my partner on the weekend in Athens and the hotel catered for absolutely everything I needed, including an upgraded room, arrangement of balloons and flowers, transfer of luggage and discretion when checking in. The service was absolutely faultless and they have the best view of the acropolis in Athens. We also had room service and dined on the rooftop restaurant and the food and drinks are fantastic. I’ve travelled quite a lot and this is by far my favourite hotel in the world and we’ve stayed multiple times previously and for sure will be coming back again. Massive thanks to the whole team for the continued solid communication, the reception who looked after us and specifically Katerina in the Guest Relations team who made sure we were looked after and made my life a lot less stressful when staying by ensuring everything was confirmed and lined up weeks before my arrival. Athens and Electra Metropolis will always hold a special place in our hearts, I wish the team all the best until we see them again. Once again, thank you so much for the unforgettable stay and memories I’ll carry for the rest of my life.

“Good food, but odd service”

We booked this restaurant as it was said that the views, especially at sunset, were to be seen. We turned up only to be taken past the empty tables that had the better views to a table near the back with a pillar obstructing the views. We booked this restaurant as it was said that the views, especially at sunset, were to be seen. We turned up only to be taken past the empty tables that had the better views to a table near the back with a pillar obstructing the views. I pointed this out and was told the bigger tables were for 4 people. But 8 pointed a table for 2 that was perfectly situated and they put us there. The tables in front of us for 4 people all had 2.people sat at them. This happend twice more with couples turning up, they complained and then was moved to a 4 seater table. It made no sense as the views and food is the big draw here. The service after this was good and the food outstanding, although a little pricey.
