We’ve visited a spa in the hotel. They have a few interesting options: honey, olive and “sambuka” flavor something. The stuff is really good and they always try to meet your needs. We paid 50 eur each for 50 minutes of massage and it worths go there. For us it would be great either to have a longer procedure or bigger variety of choice. Nevertheless, overall atmosphere and specialist know their business. It would be great if they grow bigger so service itself can improve. Just one suggestion is not to be that sticky asking for feedback:)

The hotel is nice but very old which you can see from the lobby, needs huge renovating and investment because it is not cheap. Room was clean and specious but with old furniture,food was good, but in restaurant glasses and plates were dirty all the time even we said that to restaurant manager, staff was not helpfull for anything we asked for most of the time they don't understand english very good and try to avoid you if you want to ask anything (they know russian better then english), they dont have change to give you at the reception and they charge 9€ for hotel guests sunbeads on their own beach in front of the hotel (athos palace and pallini beach). I traveled all arround the world but this is not a 4 star hotel specially not 4 star service (i also work in hospitality in 6 star enviorement) it is NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!!! This is not a hotel chain (G-hotels) where I will stay again for sure! They do not appreciate your stay and your bussines. Thank You but not again!

It was the first time for our family in this hotel. It is quite old, this is obvious. If it had some renovation, it would be hard to find many disadvantages to it. In general, as 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 9) we had a great time in a sea-view 6th floor room, with a large double bed and 2 single separate beds. The room size was enough, bathroom quite large, corridor with a very spaciaous wardrobe. The only bad thing in the room was very old stained and kind of smelly carpet. There is a small empty fridge, balcony screen door, AC (very old system) works even with open balcony, electricity does not need a key. Food at the buffet was just fine, we are not extremely focused on food, kids had enough to choose from, there is a good choice of meat and wonderful fish, theme dinners. Beach area is clean and comfortable enough. Beach at the neighboring Pallini hotel is much better (entrance to the sea has no rocks like Athos' beach, where you need footwear), you won't need special footwear there. We have traveled to quite a few countries with kids and I have to say that this was the best sea experience I have ever had, considering that I am not a fan of beach holidays in general. The water was absolutely clean, transparent, calm, warm and simply amazing all the time, We didn't even want to go to the pool. Not much sealife to see, because the bottom is simple sand. We saw a few fish, a medusa, a crab. Staff were all polite and smily everywhere we went. We were lucky to check in straight upon arrival at 11 am. Reception ladies were helpful with information. The best staff are enterntainment team, especially some girls (i.e. Elena), who jumped, danced, sang, and played literally ALL day long and enterntained the kids at night too. Amazing enthusiasm and endurance! A lot of respect to them. It is worthwhile taking a taxi ride (10 euro) to the ancient Afitos village nearby, very pretty streets, wonderful views, good food, overpriced souvenir shops. Little food shop in Athos palace is good enough, we found that food item prices were the same at the village stores. Overall, we're happy with our vacation. We will try to choose this location in the future, thanks to the sea quality.
