We had a superb holiday at Eagles Palace. We stayed in a two-bedroom sea-view bungalow, which was perfect for us and the kids (who loved the bunk beds!). The beach and sea are beautiful, and the food on the all-inclusive package was both good, and plentiful. Our children (aged 3 and 7) absolutely loved the Scott Dunn Explorers Kids Club and couldn't wait to get there every morning. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They remembered our names, our room number (!) and even left a personalised card for the children at the end of our stay. It's those thoughtful touches that made such a difference. A huge thank you to everyone, with special mentions to Dimitris, Iannis, Stef, Anastasia, Sotiris, and all of the Explorers Kids Club team. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at the Eagle Palace Villas and I would like to leave some feedback . I could not recommend it more highly . Firstly , the Resort itself is beautiful , it is lush and green and the gardens are beautiful and expertly maintained. Villas: The villas are flat roofed with gardens on top , so no matter your view , you just see the sea and beautiful plant growth. Inside the villas are spacious and decorated tastefully . The pools are bigger than we thought and both the pool and the rooms are cleaned to the highest standard. We had a garden /pool villa and it was so nice reading under the shade over looking the sea . You also cannot hear a peep from the other villas . We are a family of 5 and stayed in the one bed garden pool villa Reception : There are 2 receptions , one for the hotel and one for the villas . Both are managed very well but the reception staff for the villas were exceptionally accommodating and could not have done enough for us as a family . No query was too much ! Jo anna manages a wonderful team of experts . I apologise for not remembering everyone’s names but you know who you are ! Food: we went all inclusive . My daughter has a severe food allergy and we informed the hotel in advance , they got intouch with all the restaurants to let them know and at every meal we went to , we were asked about allergies and everything that my daughter ate was checked for potential risks . The food itself in every restaurant was of exceptional quality. I recommend booking your restaurants in advance . Our fav was the Italian and it is hard to get into if not booked. Service and food in the Italian is 6 star . We also loved the Canteena for an easy lunch in the shade and the manager there again could not be any more professional and helpful and well just very very nice ! It is very nice to be surrounded by very nice and genuinely happy staff . Having worked in a 5 star hotel myself for years , it is a tough tough job , so I can really appreciate how they go above to make you feel welcomed and a part of the hotel. The meal on the promenade of the fish restaurant was lovely and the food in the Patio was great too but it’s not as comfortable to eat there as other restaurants . The hotel runs a tiered system with wait staff and whilst I am sure it works very effectively , it can be frustrating when you can only ask certain staff for certain things . Breakfast in the Villas was exceptional , the choice both on and off the menus was brilliant and there was nothing you could not get . As for the all inclusive , the kids could get ice creams ( branded and non branded ) etc when ever they wanted and although other snacks weren’t part of the package , they did not need them . Every cocktail was included and having a couple on the beach with the sun going down was bliss . Once per week there is a big screen showing a kids movie and they keep the bar open for this . This experience was loved by the whole family . Finally with the Villas you get the option of one meal int he town , although this comes highly recommended , we did not enjoy the food and regretted going . There is a free shuttle bus to and from the town in the evenings. Beach: The beach and vista is fabulous and the water is clear and full of fish. My children adored jumping off the pontoon and snorkelling for fish . We sat in the Villa area and the loungers were like sofas . There is a call bell for service and it was always prompt and delivered with a welcome smile . Vas is one waiter for the beach area that stood out because of his friendly and exceptional service but there were many more , too many to name. There are water sports on offer too from two companies on the beach , the one not affiliated with the hotel is cheaper . Pools: Pools were exceptional , clean and all had amazing views . The one at the Villa hotel was like a private pool as no one went there ! We did not use the indoor pools but they looked beautiful. The gym at the villas had a view of the ocean and yoga classes are on offer each day for free , I would change to time to earlier though as it gets too hot on the pier even at 8,30am Shops : There are a couple of shops in the main hotel . I do feel they are over priced and not practical . €15 for a pool noodle that costs €2 at home or €75 for a kids snorkel set is just beyond expensive . They also don’t stock other items that they could make a lot of money on like nets for fishing and decent buckets ! Would have loved bite cream to be on sale ( the reception staff very kindly gave us some ) and just more practical items and a little bit of tat! My children love a tacky magnet etc and the shops are just too fancy for us ( but maybe not anyone else ) , I genuinely believe the shops would have been busier if they were priced lower and had interesting items for children . Golf buggy: To get around the hotel if you wish there are golf buggies . My children adored these and each driver provided a super friendly service . Dinks is one such driver , keep up the great work. Transfers: These were provided with our package and I have to say they let the hotel down . Both drivers were on their phones on and off and our return driver kept texting and making calls ( not hands free ) , the roads are quite bendy and this is not ok . I did ask him to put his phone away after an hour of this and he did. All in all this was the best all inclusive we have ever stayed in . There are quiet and louder ( but not loud ) areas to chose from and there is no sunbed wars! Food and drink was exceptional and the staff made the whole experience more than 5 star!
