We had the most wonderful week at Ikos Oceania. The resort is beautiful, and whilst it is based on an hill, our room was perfectly located for easy access to pools, beach and restaurants all with a great view and impeccable service every time. The food is exceptional, we had so many great meals, Anaya was a particular favourite. The staff are without exception what make this resort so special, they consistently display professionalism and patience in ensuring every aspect of the stay is seamless. Our second stay at an Ikos resort and certainly not our last!

We stayed at Ikos Oceania at the beginning of July with our five-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be one of the best holidays we have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort was fully booked during our stay, yet it never once felt crowded. There was always plenty of space, whether at the pools, the beach, the restaurants, or the bars. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and peaceful. One of the things we appreciated most was the outstanding quality of the food and drinks. Every restaurant served delicious, beautifully prepared dishes, and the cocktails, wines, and beverages were all of an exceptionally high standard. It is rare to find an all-inclusive resort where quality is never feels compromised, but Ikos Oceania certainly achieves this. Overall, we can honestly say that this was one of the finest holidays we have ever experienced, and somewhere we are already looking forward to returning to. We know that the resort being built on a hillside is sometimes mentioned as a disadvantage by other guests, but for us it was actually one of its greatest strengths. Because of its elevated setting, almost every part of the resort offers breathtaking sea views. We love panoramic scenery, and since we don't mind walking uphill, this was a huge advantage rather than an inconvenience. The views made the entire resort feel even more special. Although the rooms are not the most recently renovated, they are extremely comfortable, cosy, impeccably clean, and very well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our stay, which was especially appreciated in the July heat. We would also like to compliment the housekeeping team and the staff responsible for servicing the rooms and minibars—they were consistently friendly, efficient, and attentive. Every single member of staff we encountered, whether at the bars, restaurants, reception, or throughout the resort, was genuinely welcoming, professional, and always eager to make sure every guest had a wonderful experience. Their warmth and hospitality truly set Ikos Oceania apart. A special thank you goes to Effie, our daughter's swimming instructor. She is not only one of the warmest and loveliest people you could hope to meet, but also an exceptional instructor. Our daughter made tremendous progress during her lessons, and we would happily return to Ikos Oceania just so she could continue learning with Effie. Another absolute highlight was the Heroes Kids Club. Our five-year-old daughter normally refuses to attend kids' clubs or organised children's activities anywhere we travel. To our complete surprise, she absolutely loved the Kids Club at Ikos Oceania and actually begged to go every single day. In fact, there were times when she preferred spending time there over staying with us—which has never happened before! The nannies were exceptionally caring, genuinely engaged, and created such a warm and welcoming environment that our daughter felt completely at home. The Kids Club is incredibly well organised and offers so much more than childcare. The children enjoy a wide variety of fun, creative, and engaging activities, entertainment, and shows, all while being looked after with genuine care and enthusiasm. It is a place where children truly thrive. Bravo to the entire team of nannies at the Heroes Kids Club—you are doing an outstanding job and made a huge difference to our family's holiday. One feature we found particularly impressive was the WhatsApp concierge service. It is an incredibly convenient way to communicate with the hotel. Throughout our stay, we could send a message at any time with a question or request, and almost everything was resolved within minutes. The service was consistently efficient, friendly, and professional, making the entire holiday completely effortless. Thank you to everyone at Ikos Oceania for creating such a memorable holiday. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention, and it is easy to understand why so many guests return year after year. We certainly will.

“Great holiday, perfect beach & service”

For context, we are a French-British family, with 2 children 16+. Our point of reference for all-inclusive is Club Med and we’ve also been to Greece a few times before. Overall we had a great stay, LOVED the beach, food was good although we didn’t find it as ‘wow’ as other reviewers suggested. On the first evening, we had dinner at Flavors (buffet) as recommended by the hotel. We really didn’t like it: the room is completely enclosed and air-conditioned, uninspiring, no atmosphere. The food is ‘international’ and equally uninspiring. If you’ve been to Club Med, you’ll understand how disappointed we were. After that we managed to have dinner in the various restaurants for the rest of our stay. Overall the food was nice, but most of it is calibrated towards ‘bland’, not much seasoning, herbs or spices. You won’t find the typical Greek salad you get in any decent beach taverna with a slab of feta topped with oregano and olive oil and lots of olives; at best you find a tomato salad with a few olives and optional feta on the side, and that’s only at Ouzo. You also don’t get offered olives with your pre-dinner drinks, despite being in a region renowned for its olives. In my opinion, Ikos misses a big mark by taking the ‘Greekness’ out of the resort experience. Beach Club was our favourite restaurant, Ouzo’s lunch BBQ was great, Provence was hit and miss, Anaya had the best sunset view. Fresco was underwhelming, even the tiramisu was disappointing. There are some pearls on every menus, alongside some more average dishes. The service was great everywhere, the staff always had a smile on, very attentive. We also tried Akti in the nearby town, which ticked the box for an authentic Greek restaurant experience and a more lively atmosphere. The bar was very pleasant, with some live music most nights, and a good selection of cocktails. The staff were lovely, especially Thomas and Eleni. The beach was amazing and completely made our stay. Clean sand, crystal clear water, the sea is not very deep for quite a distance so you can swim or play and feel super safe at all times. No issue getting sunbeds. Kostas and Tassos work relentlessly to keep those on the beach refreshed. We didn’t try the pools. Another highlight was yoga every morning at 8am on a deck with a sea view with the lovely and very gentle Thea. We also had fun dancing on the beach at the white party on Thursdays. The rooms are ok, nothing very special but clean and modern. The resort is pretty much mosquito- and wasp-free, probably not great from an environmental point of view but great for holiday comfort. The WhatsApp system for communicating with the hotel is very convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. If Ikos could do buffets like Club Med and bring in a touch more of the local feel, it would be a 5/5 for us.
