Very pleasant, helpful & attentive staff. All of them, without exception. we were greeted with a cold cloth to cool us down, and a drink of juice. They cleaned our room while we were at breakfast. Wonderful breakfast. Clean room. Good size. Bathroom adequate - 2 people couldn't easily use it at the same time. Room got cold overnight. (temp dropped outside, so maybe the a/c was off - no controls for it - and it was cold outside (15 when we woke up at 7 am). We just got an extra blanket for the next night. Quiet rooms. Patio or balcony for each room. The chairs leaned way back which I didn't find too comfy. No fridge. No water in the room, or offered. But there was coffee to make, in the room. There are some games provided that guests can play

“Staff was very nice and helpful.”

Nice hotel. Great staff. Helen was very helpful and explained all the Monestaries to us. Breakfast was nice. I would not consider it 4 star more like a 3 star. Rooms were clean. Nice to have parking at the hotel. Walking distance to downtown.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. Although it’s rated as 4*, the bathroom design felt more like 2*. Water leaked onto the floor despite the glass partition and drained through a gully in the middle of the bathroom. The bath mat and the side of the tub were constantly wet, and both the bathtub and sink counter were made of cement. The bathroom was also extremely small. We only had one carry-on bag between two people, so carrying it up the stairs wasn’t an issue. The room itself was comfortable with a charming white furniture design. Breakfast was good, though the vegetarian options were quite limited. There was a coffee maker in the room, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even letting us use the accessible restroom to freshen up after a 5-hour hike around Meteora. We had dinner at Yamas Taverna Restaurant and lunch at Panellinio—both were lovely choices.

I would classify this hotel as an older property that looks like a botique hotel. I was not aware that there are no elevators in the building. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. However, we don't do stairs. Luckily they had one room on the first floor available and we got it. People come… more

I would classify this hotel as an older property that looks like a botique hotel. I was not aware that there are no elevators in the building. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. However, we don't do stairs. Luckily they had one room on the first floor available and we got it. People come here to see the monestaries on top of the rocks and the hotel is right next to the rocks. The room was ok but a little small for all the stuff we came with. We ate dinner and breakfast here which was just ok. Avoided more driving in town to find a restaurant. No real activities here. I don't think there was a pool or any recreational facilities. Ok for one night before driving the route to the hills for sightseeing.
