“Only hotel with full time power plant in the park.”
The only hotel in Tikal with full time operating power plant. Ceiling fans (no hotels with AC in the park). Good value for the price, nice staff, next to the entrance to the park for great sunrise watching. You walk 40 min to get to the sunrise spot, amazing.

If you can, visit the ruins mid-week. Avoid the weekend crowd. The hotel and restaurant are more than adequate considering the remote location.
