“We loved this place.”
If you arrive by train, the Hallstatt train station is on the opposite side of the lake from the town. The ferry operates in sync with the train schedule so waits are never long. “You pay for the views”
It’s possibly among the best located hotels and has a decent restaurant. Breakfast was average and morning staff was not the most friendly or helpful.
