“Van Der valk”
What a beautiful hotel, staff were very attentive and location was really good Food was good in the restaurant and breakfast was really tasty. The staff were very obliging. Cycling was encouraged and bikes were for hire. A very good location and the canals were worth a visit

“Need a permanent bartender.”
Can’t fault the hotel - with exception being two things. 1 - Laundry service. It shouldn’t take two days to get laundry back. 2 - Bartender …. You should employ at least one permanent bartender behind the bar. Many students working at the hotel who don’t know how to work the bar.

Nice, quite new, clean hotel just nearby Leeuwarden. Friendly staff. Menu not in English, as typical here. But everyone are speaking English enough. “A bit pricey for the location.”
We Disliked: A bit pricey for the location. We Liked: Looks very modern. The room was huge. The room has all one can ask for. Lots of parking places. Has a McDonald's at 5 min drive distance, in case you miss breakfast.
