“Old-fashioned Dutch charm in a beautiful wooded area”
Wonderful old building from around 1900 at the edge of beautiful woods with pleasant walking paths. The hotel owners over the years managed to leave the old charm intact and resist over-renovation, so the atmosphere feels very authentic, even in the restaurant wing that was built in later years. “Stylisch experience”
It's obvious a hotel in old style, which also gives it a charm. The room at the backside was noisy, die to some ventilation system, so sleeping with open window is tough. “Huge rooms, Victorian charm, but slightly disappointing breakfast”
My room (121) was huge, with its own living area, desk, two arm chairs in 1930s style aged, brown leather, and a bathroom big enough to be a bedroom in a London budget hotel. Stayed here over Christmas. Both days. Service friendly. Personnel works hard to provide guests with a pleasant stay. Christmas-dinner was good! Price hefty.
