I have stayed here a number of times. This is because the hotel is modern and pleasant and in a very conveninet location. But checkin has always been a disaster. On my most recent visit it took a very long time, despite the fact that I had checked in online! I understand having to check my ID, but why type in the number when Accor have this on their records. By the time I left reception the queue was very long. The receptionist made two mistakes. Firstly, she didn't deduct the points which I wa susing to pay for some of the stay. Secondly, she didn't take into account the late checkout that I had booked. I had to return to the reception desk the next day to get the price corrected. If it was a a one-off I wouldn't complain. but the queues are always long and the staff always untrained. Having someone who speaks Dutch would also be pleasant, but probably too much to ask. I still rate it good, because I do go back. The location (right by the train station and a few minutes from Schiphol) is really excellent

We arrived at 14:35, I am aware the check in is 15:00 but thought I would do the paperwork and drop my luggage if the room was not ready. I was told that the room wasn't ready and still being cleaned, I was told that they couldn't check me in and I should come back in around a half hour or so. I went to have a drink then came back after 15:00. There were two staff on reception dealing with guests, so I stood there waiting. I waited 30 minutes before one of them became available, I then asked to check in to be told that I have not paid for the room and needed to pay, I had prepaid and showed the payment confirmation, but this was just ignored as they tapped away on the computer, after 5 minutes I was told "ok, I found it, you have paid". Thinking we could now get checked in I was hoping for it to be done quickly, alas this was not to be, 20 minutes later I'm still standing there wondering why it takes so long considering I have given all my details online as I am an All Accor member. Eventually we headed to the room, the room was fine but considering they initially said that the room was still being cleaned it wasn't very clean, there was a layer of dust on everything, the coffee machine, the tables, the TV remote, all had dust covering them, I wiped these down myself as I couldn't be bothered to deal with reception again. I never included breakfast in my booking, this is something that I am glad of, we had breakfast one day at a cost of about €26, I have to say it was very underwhelming, quite possibly the worst breakfast I've had for many years from a hotel. There was no bacon, no scrambled eggs, and what there was, did not qualify a price tag of €26, I wanted a spoon but there was none, so I asked a member of staff, telling her that the container was empty, she pointed across the room at another staff member saying "ask her" so I did, that staff member then disappeared coming back with a handful of spoons and threw them in the container, didn't think for a moment to bring one to me or even tell me that she had refilled the container. I then asked for some tea bags to make a second cup of tea, as they had run out when I used the last one, I never got that second cup as the tea bags were never replenished. Overall the stay was very average with poor service from the staff on reception and at breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and I certainly wouldn't rebook to return.

Location is very convenient to the train station. Hotel wasn't busy the 3 nights I stayed. Room was clean when I checked in. Staff weren't very friendly..I stayed for 3 nights and a refresh for my room would have been nice. I would have liked some tea bags and maybe toilet rolls refreshed but there… more

Location is very convenient to the train station. Hotel wasn't busy the 3 nights I stayed. Room was clean when I checked in. Staff weren't very friendly..I stayed for 3 nights and a refresh for my room would have been nice. I would have liked some tea bags and maybe toilet rolls refreshed but there was no housekeeping service. My family in another room said they didn't get any either. I had lunch my first day which was very nice however the service from the server in the suit in restaurant wasnt good.
