Great hotel, staff are super friendly, we arrived at 11am and was aware check in wasn’t until 3pm but they very kindly allowed us to check in early with no extra cost, again when checked out they allowed us to leave our cases behind reception as we didn’t get picked up until 4pm, very kind staff! Basic room but adequate. The location is far from central Amsterdam however easily reachable by bus. The bus stop is 15mins away. Bus number 391 will take you into central Amsterdam and zaanse schan. “Good choice if you have a car”
Pros: 1) The place was actually affordable. “Great budget hotel ideal for exploring Amsterdam”
The hotel is in Zaandam NOT in the Amsterdam travel zone so you’ll need to buy a travel card to reflect this. We didn’t realise but it is easy enough to tap on and off the buses, stop located nearby.
