Location 20 mins from airport (20-30€ Uber), 2 mins from tramline which was convenient, or 25 min walk to De Jordaan. The hotel is within a park which has lovely green space, a bakery, sandwich shop and a couple of bars/ restaurants. There was a very lively Comedy Club which sadly meant no sleep on Thursday night, open until 1-2am. I was travelling with my son so not ideal. There is no restaurant/ bar at the hotel, contrary to pictures - this was all closed down. Atmosphere The hotel reception is like a hipster coffee joint. Staff super friendly. The drinks and products in the hotel are all eco friendly. Breakfast at 15€ would be overproduced and dirty dishes on trolleys allay in reception until after 11am. Rooms These rooms are minimalist and simple. Not my favourite but they were very clean. The cement floors meant they became exceptionally slippy especially in and around the bathroom. There was no glass for toothbrushes. There was no fridge in the room, which was disappointing. A bottle of warm tap water was in the room (an ice bucket was provided but no idea where the ice was?) There were 4 small extra soft pillows on the large bed, which seemed disproportionate and not very supportive. And the bedframe was squeaky. Which was just annoying (339) We had velux windows (in attic) which were also not my favourite and too high for my son to look outside. And it didn’t bother us much but aside from 3 local channels the TV did not work for any English channels. There was no WiFi access info in the room, which was weird. Advice This hotel may be good for adults travelling alone. It was clean and the location was good if you don’t want to stay in the heart of the city. Lots of restaurants around and near the tram. The 9292 app was an incredible piece of advice from the reception.

I stayed for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the price. To begin with the positive: the reception staff were excellent. The check-in was smooth, the young man at the desk was genuinely friendly and professional, and communication via WhatsApp was quick and helpful. That part of the service was very good. However, the main issue was the noise. There is a bar directly in front of the hotel that plays loud music late into the night. As a result, I barely slept for two consecutive nights. When paying a premium rate for accommodation, the basic expectation is rest. In this case, that was not provided. Breakfast was also disappointing. During the booking process it states breakfast runs until 11:00, but signage inside the hotel says 10:30. Because of this inconsistency, I missed breakfast on the first morning. On the second morning, although I arrived about 40 minutes before closing time, most items had already been cleared away. There were very limited ingredients left, no plates available, and the overall atmosphere felt rushed. One member of the kitchen staff was particularly rude and abrupt during our first interaction. The tone was unnecessarily harsh. When we later needed to request a simple missing ingredient, we chose not to approach him again and instead walked to the other side of the room near the entrance, where another staff member at the bar kindly assisted us. It should not feel uncomfortable to ask for basic service during breakfast. Additionally, the corridors smelled strongly of cannabis, which detracted from the overall atmosphere, even though the smell did not enter the room itself. This stay was also meant to help assess whether the hotel would be suitable for a potential professional booking. Based on this experience, I would not recommend it at this time. The lack of sleep, inconsistent information, breakfast management, and unprofessional behaviour significantly impacted the stay, despite the excellent reception service.
