“Value for money hotel with clean and spacious room”

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Slotejk station and it is 1 stop to Amsterdam Central station so it is pretty convenient. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Slotejk station and it is 1 stop to Amsterdam Central station so it is pretty convenient. Not much restaurant nearby but there are 2 supermarkets near the train station, since there's kitchen in the room this was ok for me. I noted there was a hole sinking down on the bed around the butt area and I feedback to the front desk. Apparently all the double beds in the hotel are not real queen size bed but combining 2 single bed into 1 so change room is not a solution. Jamie from the front desk was very kind to help me flip the mattresses and add on mattress topper. This is not perfect but has significantly reduce the uncomfortable of feeling the divider when sleeping in the middle. She's also a very warm and helpful person to help me with all my little questions /reqiests during my 5 nights stay. I heard from many travellers I met that their hotel rooms in Amsterdam are very small given almost the same price. I'm fortunate to have chosen Hote2stay with comfortable space to enjoy my holiday in Amsterdam.

Great stay, value for money was excellent. We booked a deluxe apartment for our 4 day-stay...Considering we would have paid the same price for a tiny room in central Amsterdam. Sloterdijk station took us to beautiful day trips. Easy commutes. The only suggestion would be to allow guests to adjust the AC / temperature. At this time of the year, the sun can warm up a room very quickly and we could not use AC at that time of the year. We had to open the windows and mosquitos were delighted during our last night. I ended up getting at least 6 bites including one on my eyelid, and I woke up with a massive eye swelling. ADVICE: If you stay there around the same time, ask for a fan, that is what I should have done.... Besides that issue, the place is a gem!! Highly recommended!

Although a bit hard to find, the hotel was excellent for our needs. The small kitchenette allowed us to cook and keep food cold. Eating out for the two of us was generally about 125 Euros for three meals per day throughout most of Europe. This hotel reduced those costs by 2/3rds. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. They allowed us to use the laundry while we waited for our room to be prepared. We did not use the sauna because we were too busy enjoying the sights. It looked beautiful and clean - we were just too tired at days end. Our room was on the first floor and it would have been nice to have a ramp to access that area. Instead, we had to carry our luggage up five steps in the lobby - not an issue if you're back packing, but we had suit cases. The elevator does not stop on the first floor.

Location of the Hotel was very convenient. Being next to Sloterdijk train station meant easy access by various methods of public transportation. Location of the Hotel was very convenient. Being next to Sloterdijk train station meant easy access by various methods of public transportation. We took metro, tram, bus and train to travel the city and surrounding areas. The train ride from the airport was 10 minutes. There was also a grocery store nearby which is great as the hotel has a kitchenette. The vibe of the hotel was very chic, and the staff was always in a happy mood and really friendly. They offer luggage storage on travel days which was a big perk and we took advantage of that service. They also have laundry facilities on site, which was something we needed as we were travelling light. The only complaint that I had was the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was really hard (I do like a firm mattress), also the edge of the bed was slanted down and I found myself falling of the bed if I went near the edge. This would not discourage me from staying here again because the facilities were very clean, the staff was fantastic and location was perfect if you want to explore multiple places in Amsterdam and surrounding areas.
