“Good experience”

Hotel was good, rooms not to small and very clean. Friendly staff. Very nice looking bathroom with big shower. You do have to pay to check in early even tho your room is ready. Overall great experience

We booked our New Year's holiday at this hotel, eager to have the best time ever in Amsterdam. In many ways, we did enjoy our stay, but a few aspects were quite disappointing. Firstly, I want to give a big shout-out to Nuri (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly). He was the kindest person I encountered at the hotel. In every interaction, he demonstrated outstanding active listening skills and problem-solving abilities. We had to change rooms upon arrival due to our booking's configuration, and he made that process smooth and easy. I truly hope he receives the recognition he deserves. Unfortunately, not everything was positive. On New Year’s night, we needed scissors to adjust some clothes we had purchased. When three women are trying to manage that, it can take a bit of time. To our surprise, one of the receptionists knocked on our door to ask for the scissors after we had them for only two hours. It was quite shocking, considering we paid nearly €1,000 for our stay. We did not expect to be treated this way over a cheap pair of scissors. Additionally, we faced another issue: our room hadn’t been cleaned for two days. On the first day, someone came in, left clean towels on the bed, and did not service the room at all. The following day, someone even opened our door even with the clean signal on. I went to the reception to discuss the room service issue with the same receptionist who had inquired about the scissors. Instead of being attentive and apologizing, she focused on finding someone responsible to service our room while I was expressing our concerns. She kept looking at her screen during our conversation. Although our room was finally serviced shortly after I left the reception, I still felt ignored by the staff. Overall, this is a good place to stay. It is conveniently located near the metro, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent and well worth the price. However, the customer service definitely needs improvement.

“Beware of ground floor”

I was on a business trip here for four nights. I arrived quite late and they put me into ground floor room. The ground floor means _ground_ floor, you have guys walking right past your windows, obviously this is hardly ideal. I went to complain about it the next morning, but they only agreed to change the room if I went to reception around noon to match check in/out, but this is hardly practical on business trip, so I was stuck with blinders on the whole stay. The hotel is pretty bare bones for services, you get couple of expensive vending machines and that's it, recommend making a trip to a supermarket to stock up on some snacks. The rooms have a mini-fridge, which is _not_ always the case in Amsterdam for some reason. There's a rain-style shower, which is nice. Breakfast is normal hotel fare.

Hotel is ok for a short break there is nothing around the hotel , There are vending machines for cold drinks and snacks but they only take card payments and they are expensive breakfast was good , bedroom was ok but there were silver fish in the bedroom carpet also in the corridor . Bathroom was spacious and very clean . Metro is 5 min away for the city it’s 20 min catch the M54 train . There was a slight smell in the hotel that was because of what people were smoking !!
