“Lovely all round experience”
A very good hotel. Staff pleasant and helpful. Modern rooms, comfy beds and are well equipped with safe, tea and coffee facility, kettle and fridge. The bar and restaurant are both excellent. Breakfast is good standard fare with dinner being first class.

“Quality hotel throughout, a restaurant not to be missed”

“Comfortable hotel”
Comfortable hotel although the location means it can be noisy at night from the road.lovely terrace by the river. The restaurant is ok although our evening service was appalling. The waitress was grumpy and we gave up on them clearing our table or asking if we wanted dessert.

“Pleasant Stay”
Big rooms, comfortable bed and good breakfast… all they were short of was the staff in the pub. Perhaps that was only for a couple of days while we were there but it took them ages to notice us in the pub and then come to serve us. That is the reason I have taken away 1 star off the 5. “Expensive and poor service!”
We stayed for one night over the weekend. This hotel is not in the centre of Leiden and bed + bfst for 2 guests at nearly 220 Euros, I thought was super expensive. Staff acted like they don’t want to be there and the rooms are old. Breakfast was nice, but would not stay again.
