“Unique experience on the water”

Great experience on the water in a harbor. Central but quiet. Walkable area very close to a parking garage, restaurants and convenience store. Restaurant on location with great atmosphere and views onto the harbor.

The hotel was easy to find from Blaak station, it was clean and comfortable apart from the square pillows. The restaurant had limited options for lunch or dinner in my opinion and breakfast rate was quite expensive for continental. If your tall, make sure you're careful in the upper rooms as there'… more

The hotel was easy to find from Blaak station, it was clean and comfortable apart from the square pillows. The restaurant had limited options for lunch or dinner in my opinion and breakfast rate was quite expensive for continental. If your tall, make sure you're careful in the upper rooms as there's a steel beam going across the room, and my husband hit his head a couple of times

Given the choice, I’m glad I did. Also, love the punny name! I had a really good four night stay here. My room, on the lower level, was quiet and comfortable. My porthole was aimed at the canal wall but, when the tide was high, I had a view of the street. Being a cabin, while spacious, there were a few things to navigate, like the two posts near the window, one of which I ended up head-butting as bent down to pick up something! Ah, the life of a sailor ;) The room had a work table, TV, free WiFi, kettle with tea & coffee, air-conditioning, block out curtains and wardrobe. It lacked a luggage rack and fridge. The washroom had a surprisingly large shower with a great water pressure, a wall-attached hairdryer, quality toiletries and lush towels. The location was excellent with all parts of the city within easy walking distance. It’s only three blocks from the Markthal and the food and groceries therein. Breakfast is available onsite, however, I chose to eat out. I was taking a night ferry to the UK and they happily stored my bags for the day. This was fun way to visit Rotterdam for the first time and I would stay again.

Arrived for a darts event in the city and we stayed here 1 night. Staff on reception are excellent, every member was courteous and friendly. Sadly several rooms weren't ready past 3pm, ours included. (You can drop your bags here) Our room was right by the reception which we found a little noisy, also as you're at street level there was a bit of noise overnight with revellers making their way home. Beds are ok. Single bed is a little small and they have a single duvet on top. Most disappointing for us was the breakfast. We arrived at 9.30am and it seemed a bit disorganised. All hot plates were nearly empty, cutlery tray was empty. Bread for the toaster also empty. A very limited choice to be honest overall, and we left shortly afterwards after 1 cup of tea and toast...not really worth €32 !! We should have gone out and found a more suitable breakfast option but had to shower and check out. Overall, after the novelty of being on a boat wears off, this accommodation is very average and expensive for what it is.
