Considering it was just one week before Christmas, we were very fortunate to secure accommodation for our group, one family room and three double rooms for two nights. We drove from the Midlands to Windermere and, after searching through many hotels online, this one immediately stood out. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a very pleasant member of staff, Joe (I believe that was his name). He explained the room availability clearly, showed us around the hotel, and even helped us book the rooms at a better rate than the website. He also informed us that by registering on the hotel app, we would receive complimentary welcome drinks, which was a lovely bonus. The rooms were immaculate, and overall the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. The only slight downside for us was that as we were three families, our rooms were located opposite the pub area, meaning we had to step outside to move between rooms, which was quite cold. Additionally, as we opted for the complimentary drinks, housekeeping was not included during our stay. This wasn’t an issue for us as we were only staying for two nights, and a turnover service was still provided. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel. Thank you to the team for making our visit enjoyable.

Great hotel in beautiful location. Rooms across the road from the pub. Checked in online the day before so only a case of picking up key & explanation of location of room, car parking registration & breakfast time from very helpful member of staff. Room was spacious, clean & warm, beds comfy. Bathroom had a huge walk in power shower. Told to download the app to receive freebies such as a free drink each per day we opt out of having room cleaned. Also collect points on money spent in the companies pubs. Breakfast very good, self service with no limit to how much you want. Ate in pub twice, good sized portions & very tasty. Staff throughout our stay were genuinely friendly & very helpful.

“Lovely rooms but expensive ”

Very comfortable room with a separate dining area. The shower was great and the room had a sofa which makes such a difference to sitting on an office type chair which a lot of hotels offer. The only downside is the price. It's expensive for what you are getting.
