A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Montmartre. Exceptionally helpful and efficient staff. Classic double room with excellent bed and good lighting. Compact but good shower and WC,with plenty of room for toiletries. No noise from within or from the road. In late afternoon complimentary glass of wine and canapes on top floor bar,with lovely viws. Our 4 yar old granddaughter visiting us in the hotel was provided with puzzles,sticker book and crayons!

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Terrass Hotel. The hotel is located in an ideal neighborhood for some of the finest restaurants and cafes. It is also near to the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. The staff at the Terrass Hotel is warm and welcoming. During our stay there were 2 individuals that stood out. The first was the concierge David. He assisted us with bringing our luggage into the hotel from the taxi. A huge help. He actually came up to our room to answer any questions we had about our room. An excellent employee. The second individual that went above and beyond was Marie Caroline at the front desk. She is so pleasant and welcoming. Marie answered all of our many questions and also helped us with our restaurant reservations. Both David and Marie made our stay at Terrass a memorable one.

Located within easy walking distance of all major and minor sights of Montmartre, Terrass Hotel is a gem. The staff is attentive and helpful. The included breakfast is satisfying. The view across Paris from the fifth floor is breathtaking, well as from the dining area on the seventh floor. Our room, #505, was clean and comfortable. Its bathroom is a generous size. I included a flower arrangement and fruit basket for a special occasion; both were waiting for us in the room, and were lovely. Terrass Hotel is located directly across the street from the historic Montmartre Cemetery. Famous folks are at eternal repose there, including painter of ballerinas, Edgar Degas (1834–1917); author of “The Three Musketeers,” Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870); saxophone inventor, Adolphe Sax (1814-1894); and early 20th-century ballet dancer, Vaslav Nijinsky (1890-1950). I would stop at Terrass Hotel again, and I would recommend it to others.

“Lovely hotel, great location and breakfast.”

Location, roof top bar/ terrace were excellent.The room was well organised and felt spacious for its size. Views of the tower at breakfast and from the room. Location, roof top bar/ terrace were excellent.The room was well organised and felt spacious for its size. Views of the tower at breakfast and from the room. Nice welcome treats and a fantastic much as you can eat breakfast - sausages bacon eggs plus eggs cooked to order smoked salmon and loads more. The only let down was, despite assurances at checkin about concerns of building work next door to our room and being told this wouldn’t start until 10 am we were woken at 8.15 am by building noise on two mornings. Also we were next door to a laundry room as long sustained noise from early one morning was irritating. Sounded like a tumble dryer, also comings and goings started quite early.Given this the rates for this room should be lower than equivalent rooms not subjected to this disturbance.
