The staff at the Anantara resort are its major asset and the hotel must be immensely proud of the service offered to guests. Our server in the main restaurant was Sasupun and nothing was too much trouble for him to ensure we had the best time ever. This hotel is by far the best resort hotel we have ever stayed in despite having travelled all over the world. All the food was of the highest quality in all the restaurants at all times Our room was ocean view and had every conceivable facility required including bath & shower. It was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to our family & friends and hope to retun soon

It is our second time in Anantara Kalutara, we missed this atmosphere of pure luxury and warm hospitality. Stunning views, impeccable design, this place instantly makes you feel relaxed and cherished. A special shout‑out to the incredible team at Restaurant Olu! Thank you, team Olu - everyone was so sweet and helpful! A huge thank you to Chirantha, Methmini, Imasha Udeshi, Sasupun, Isuru, Kalpani (Manager), and all the wonderful waiters! Unfortunately, I didn’t write down all the names, but trust me – Anantara’s service is the best! Genuine smiles, attention to detail, and eagerness to make our dining experience exceptional 🤍 A special thanks to Alisa for helping us with the villa upgrade, it was a fantastic decision that elevated our entire stay. The villa was spacious, we loved the design and warm pool, ideal blend of comfort and luxury. Our room attendant, Dilan, deserves a special mention too. He was incredibly professional and kind, always going the extra mile. He even left cute little surprises in our room every day! We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and already dreaming of our return 💕

I have stayed in a number of Anantara Hotels, I think this is number 7. So high expectations, which they met with ease. Our arrival was as expected, the traditional welcome staff, with drums and dancers, much appreciated. The checking was very efficient and we were driven to our room as it was very hot, nice touch. Our room was brilliant, great view of the beach and entertainment of the cheeky squirrels running along the balcony. The room was well laid out, very clean and plenty of water, both inside the fridge and outside. During our stay my partner became unwell and the staff organised a doctor to attend, which happened very quickly and within a very short period of time, the doctor was in the room, everything sorted. After this point the staff were always asking about our welfare, which was very nice. The staff even arranged a ‘get better cake’ to be delivered to the room, again well done and much appreciated. The food choice was excellent and they even offered dosa’s freshly cooked to your requirements. I even had Pineapple crumble, ok, I love Asian food, but could I resist crumble, which custard. The staff at the hotel are brilliant, I can name a few, who need to be congratulated for their excellent service and professionalism.. Vinshi, Isuri, to be honest all the staff were brilliant but these two went beyond what could be expected. Nilinya who was in reception was also excellent, she kept in contact with me via WhatsApp’s, well done. I must finally recommend Vinshi as my nomination for employee of the month, she is very charming and an asset to the company. Would we come back? Absolutely..
