This was our third holiday at the Pez , this time we paid for a room overlooking the pool with a partial sea view room 1015 . Room was lovely,big bed,lots of storage and a good sizes balcony. As always the food was good , breakfast was English or continental,lots of coffee and tea , evening meal was fish, pork , beef etc , lots of salad and vegetables,wine at the table was ok payeable at the table ,service as usual very good . I managed to use the pool once , it was very cold , we both did a lot of walking to various bars and restaurant's and we were pleasantly surprised by the Spanish South American festival . I think the hotel and the rooms require some TLC as It’s starting to show its age , also on the last day of our holiday some other guests decided to have an impromptu party with loud music and shouting which is not what the Pez is about . Hopefully we will be back in 2027 .

“Lovely Hotel but.....”

The hotel was spotless in every area. Had asked for high floor and got 521 which got the sun all afternoon and evening. Perfect. Classic rooms are on other side of hotel so not a good view. The hotel was spotless in every area. Had asked for high floor and got 521 which got the sun all afternoon and evening. Perfect. Classic rooms are on other side of hotel so not a good view. We had a bottle of cava and sweets for our Anniversary. Bed was huge and very comfy. Wardrobe wasn't wide enough clothes kept getting stuck in doors. Safe was free. Got all main english channels on TV. Bathroom was good although maybe needed a shelf. Towels were very fluffy and large. Frankie's Bar was open in day but only some nights. Entertainment lounge was not that big and wanted more seats. The entertainment we saw was good. Need more bar staff. Area around pool is kept well. You could get a sunbed any time of day. There were children here but not many. Now the restaurant!! It is well laid out and a decent size. Breakfast was very busy. A lot of variety. You had to order fried eggs which did cause quite a queue. Now for the evening meal. First they need more staff. There was a lot of choice but a lot of meats in sauces. The meat was of very poor quality. Not many different choice of potatoes, mostly chips. Some of the meat we couldn't eat. I would say 4 nights was good and 5 nights struggled to find something. Most night puddings were fine. Bowls of strawberries were always available until last 3 nights then none!! Could save wine for the next night. Could pay by cash or card. The Jet2 rep was there most days. Helped us as my husband had forgotten some medication and the pharmacy down the road supplied the tablets. (always take a copy of your prescription with you). The Hotel is in a good location with an Aldi just up the road. The bus stops are on main road too. Would we go back? No because of the food. I can see why many people only go B and B. We was so lucky with the weather while there. There is a gate to beach front. Take a right goes to Marina. Left goes to centre of Torromolinos its a long walk. We normally catch bus into centre then walk back.

“Such a disappointment”

We have just come home from a week at this hotel. Such a disappointment. We had a look at the hotel whilst staying elsewhere last year and thought the reception and public areas were stunning so we booked for this year. Beyond the beautiful reception lies the most soulless hotel I’ve ever been in. Most of the staff are surly and don’t speak to you. The place was sometimes completely empty, with no music, nobody bustling about, and there are no information about trips, or what is going on in the hotel. The entertainment, when we realised where it was, was mediocre and if we had come with children we would have been gutted because there appeared to be absolutely nothing for them. They cordoned off the pool at 5.00pm every night. The pool area was lovely but once again not a single waiter asking if anyone would like a drink et We received our door key and when we got to the floor we were on we honestly thought we were on a staff corridor! The paint work was chipped and scraped, the wallpaper was old and peeling off in places, the flooring had seen better days and it was just drab. The room was just ok. I’ve stayed in better 3 stars hotel rooms. The maid forgot to leave tea and milk 3 days, a bath mat twice, and we were even left without a toilet roll on one occasion. Once again there was no hotel information. Yes there was a QR code but the wi fi was diabolical so I stopped trying in the end The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice and the evening meal was lovely again plenty of choice butnot always hot. One thing I did notice was that there were 3 large bowls of salted peanuts just sitting by the ice cream and not a single allergen notice that could h been fatal for anyone like my 6 year old grandson! diabolical so I stopped trying in th

“Lacks atmosphere”

Positives : Great location/ communal areas nicely furnished / Food well presented and with plenty of options Room cleaned every day with soft towels in the bathroom Plenty of sunbeds Negatives: classic rooms overlook the car park at the rear. You have to lean over the balcony to have a sea view . Balcony very small. Windows dirty and don’t open (locked) as you may fall out Room is small with not enough wardrobe / drawers space for two adults for 7 days. I lived out of my suitcase for the week on the windowsill whilst my wife used the wardrobe No room for toiletries in the bathroom apart from leaving on the floor The toilet was positioned that I could not wipe my backside after a number two whilst sitting on it because it was tight Pool opens at 1100hrs and closes at 1700hrs. Bar serving drinks near the pool only opens at 1200hrs although you can get a drink at another area after 1030hrs but not by the pool The hotel lacks an atmosphere. Very quiet . Nothing goes on
