The most things were good. The only negative is that they say a verry good hotel for families only the 18+ zones are to big outside. I recently stayed at the Maspalomas Villas for a solo break. While there is much to appreciate about the physical resort, the experience was significantly marred by a stark and disappointing inconsistency in service levels between different areas of the property. The Accommodation and Grounds On a positive note, the villas themselves were very good. They are well-equipped with nice facilities and provide a comfortable, private base for a solo traveller. The grounds of the resort are also a highlight; they are beautifully maintained and offer a pleasant environment for a stroll. The Premium Experience I spent time in the Premium Villas section, and the service here was truly exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome—learning your name, remembering your drinks order, and maintaining a polite and friendly professional manner. If the entire resort operated at this level, it would be a five-star experience. The Main Resort Disparity Unfortunately, the difference in service when moving to the main resort is blatantly obvious and frankly jarring. In the main hotel areas, the service is closer to a "grunt" than a greeting. • Communication & Attitude: Many staff members speak very little English, which made basic interactions difficult. More concerning was the rudeness encountered; staff were particularly abrasive when enforcing what I found to be a ridiculous dress code. • The "Two-Tier" Feel: It felt as though the management only prioritises guest satisfaction for those who have paid the higher premium for the villa section. It is disappointing to feel that your value as a guest is purely transactional based on the room rate, rather than a consistent standard of hospitality across the brand. Final Verdict While the Premium Villas are lovely, the hostile atmosphere and poor service in the main resort areas were enough to sour the trip. It is a shame that such a well-maintained property is let down by its frontline service culture. Because of this inconsistency, I would be hesitant to stay here again.
