We stayed as a family of three in the deluxe area with a partioned but not swim up room. It was a generously sized room and the bathroom was great with a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate shower. The cleaners were always polite and attentive and we got restocked fridges of drinks each day. The deluxe pool is very nice and we got sunbeds each day pretty easily, Dimitrius on the orange bar there was very good and his coffee frappes were a great start to the day. The cosmopolitan restaurant was fab, the service could never be faulted and everyone was super and even learnt out drinks orders and made us feel at home every day. They went the extra mile to make sure we had dinner on the last day in a super tight timescale because of our transfer timing. Ioanna, Sofia and Marvin in particular were super kind and attentive but there were other team members too that were excellent! The activities were varied and there was so much to do, the foam party was a massive hit and my daughter loved the HV Club, Ruby, Katie, Kayleigh, Aimee and Jana were all great and my daughter found them to be so funny that she wanted to go to the activity multiple times per day! My daughter easily made friends around the hotel. The à la carte restaurants were very enjoyable, we particularly enjoyed our visit to Stars and Stripes and Gabriela there was really attentive and went the extra mile to get our desserts out quickly and as a to go order so we could get to the entertainment on time for my daughter to join in with the kids activities! The Olive restaurant is busier and because it’s a buffet there is less interaction with the staff there but they were still helpful when asked for assistance and the food was varied in the main buffet, the children’s food was pretty similar each day but my daughter enjoyed coming to the main buffet anyway. Pedro, Emma, Justine and their wider team were great evening entertainers and the PTY sessions were a big hit for our family. Shout out should go to Carter too as it’s very clear puts a lot of heart into the football academy and is very welcoming. He also does a session at the HV Club for younger footballers which my daughter joined in with and had a really fun time! The Meraki food truck is also worth a visit and Debbie is definitely very very fun and friendly and you won’t go hungry with her portion sizes! Overall, we could not fault our experience there and loved the trip, we definitely intend to come back.

Good points; The place looks lovely, the rooms are nice with air con and if you pay for Deluxe then your minibar is restocked for free each day. The pools are nice, a good temperature and clean. Good points; The place looks lovely, the rooms are nice with air con and if you pay for Deluxe then your minibar is restocked for free each day. The pools are nice, a good temperature and clean. The food at the restaurants is nice enough, especially for being all inclusive, lots of selections. The staff are all friendly and helpful. On your last day if your airport transfer is late in the day you can get access to a room for an hour to shower after using the pool. Bad points; None of the restrooms had baby changing facilities in the entire hotel. The kids activities are a bit meh. There's a football academy, a mediocre water park where most of us cut our feet and shins on the bottom, a small play park and some entertainment for tiny tots. It all reminded us of a 90's holiday to Butlins but on a smaller scale. For afternoon snacking there's a noodle bar but every time the guy got our order wrong, and no matter what we asked for it would have chicken in it. I could see he wasn't adding it separately so it was either leftover in the wok or somehow mixed in with the noodles. The locks on the doors don't work unless you slam them, so often we'd come back after roomkeeping had been to find out door ajar. All in all it's ok, but not a 5 star resort.
