“Great hotel, friendly staff”
Lovely hotel with friendly staff, help yourself to the refreshments which were available all day in the lounge area. The hotel is situated right next to the castle with easy access to trams and buses. Well worth a visit, be aware that Peacocks roam the area and can be very vocal, they did not spoil… more

“A Place Apart”
One of Lisbon’s best kept secrets. Solar do Castelo blends history and ambience beautifully. The staff (and peacocks) are always welcoming. Solar is worth the trip from anywhere.

“Fabulous hotel in great location”
This is a gem of a boutique hotel situated right next to Castelo de Sao Jorge. There are Peacocks in the garden of this beautiful building. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. “When you need style service and location this is it.”
A very nice Hotel on a unique location on the hill next to the famous Castle Castelo de Sao Jorge. Everything is in walking distance.
