“Great Hotel, Helpful Staff”

We came in very late as spent the day in one of the parks. There was always someone at the reception which made it easy even at night. Unfortunately there was a mix up with our rooms but the problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently and we have been rewarded for our patience too. The feel of the hotel is amazing, such a western style, amazing to walk on the "streets" between the rooms, the reception area looked fantastic too. The room was Toy Story theme which our daughter absolutely loved and was memorised by. Everything was super clean. The food in the morning was very fresh and there was a huge variety of dishes to choose from. In the hotel reception there was also a possibility to meet Jessie and take pictures with her which was very special. Overall we are very pleased as it definitely added to our overall experience.

“Still a good option to keep prices down”

This is still a solid option for my family when staying at DLP. Unfortunately, it dropped a star because on arrival to our room at almost 12am after the Disney adventure world night show and getting our cases from our car, our magic passes didn’t work to open the door. This is still a solid option for my family when staying at DLP. Unfortunately, it dropped a star because on arrival to our room at almost 12am after the Disney adventure world night show and getting our cases from our car, our magic passes didn’t work to open the door. I had to go down to reception to get it sorted with 2 very tired children sleeping in the corridor. The staff were good though and got it sorted promptly when I got seen by a cast member. The room was turned over nicely the following day and after a long day was nice to come back to a neat room(I had already packed things away and tried to make to beds as best I could).

“Too expensive for such a neglected hotel”

Too expensive for such a neglected hotel. We had a room for 4 people, too small event for 3. There were spiders and web. Only 2 towels for 4 people. No stickers at the reception.

Although the hotel served its purpose and is well-located for the Disney parks, overall we were very underwhelmed by our accommodation. Although the hotel served its purpose and is well-located for the Disney parks, overall we were very underwhelmed by our accommodation. Rooms are located in a number of blocks that are laid out to resemble an old Wild West town (it looks better from the outside than it does inside). Described as ‘Western/Toy Story’ themed, it was the ugliest room we’ve ever stayed in - young kids expecting Toy Story will be seriously let down by the drab brown decor and one small piece of (brown) Woody border stuck on the wall. There seemed to be a total lack of thought or expertise in the layout, decor and functionality of the room - basic things that a hotel should get right. For example: 1. Wall lights above the bed were way too low so you couldn’t sit up in bed without hitting your head on them. 2. Towels were paper thin and threadbare 3. The curtains were too small for the window and did not meet in the middle (yes, really!!) 4. Common areas - entrance and stairs - looked like they had taken a battering On the plus side, food in the hotel was better than anticipated, although like everything at Disney, expect to queue.
