Here now on a 5 day break, hotel is great. Fab location, staff so helpful, food is lovely & so much choice. Our room is ample for the 2 of us, tv, mini bar & unlimited WiFi. Here now on a 5 day break, hotel is great. Fab location, staff so helpful, food is lovely & so much choice. Our room is ample for the 2 of us, tv, mini bar & unlimited WiFi. Budapest is a lovely city, so much history & so many sights & attractions. We've taxied & used the buses both very reasonably priced as is the food in restaurants. The Xmas markets are so pretty & really impressed with how the city is decorated for Xmas. We used the hop on hop off bus & had a boat trip combined, well worth it, we visited the castle, shoes on the Danube, went inside the Basiica church, Fisherman's Bastion, Terror Museum & basically walked miles too. We love Budapest ❤

“Excellent location ,clean hotel with lovely staff”

I stayed here on a jet2 city break. Excellent location a 25 minute walk from the river Danube and promenade and a 35/40 minute walk from the city park and szechenyi baths. the hotel is almost opposite the famous New York café which has relentless queues outside day and night. I stayed here on a jet2 city break. Excellent location a 25 minute walk from the river Danube and promenade and a 35/40 minute walk from the city park and szechenyi baths. the hotel is almost opposite the famous New York café which has relentless queues outside day and night. There is a mini market next door to the hotel and a bakery which stays open late. (although produce from the bakery can be stale and dry) The hotel offers a small bottle of complimentary water in your room on arrival. There is a Lidl supermarket and a MacDonald's nearby and plenty of bars locally The rooms are compact but very clean and comfortable ,the bathroom is good and shower is ok .The bed is comfortable and i had good sleep there .There is a fridge but no kettle ,and also a colour tv there are three English speaking channels but they are all news channels .Breakfast is ok ,lots of choice ,cereal ,fresh fruit, salads ,fresh breads ,pastries/doughnuts ,tea ,coffee and juices . there is also a hot choice- eggs ,beans, mushrooms, bacon, Hungarian sausage ,French toast but this is offered alternately on different days . The cleaners were excellent ,they replenished the toilet rolls ,made the beds and emptied the bins every day. The reception staff are friendly,helpful,considerate and kind .They helped answer any questions and tried to help with repair of the safe in my room which was broken. Check out is by 12.00 midday but there is a lounge to wait in and a left luggage storage room .

The room was fine, but they cleaning is awful. Had the misfortune to drop something under the bed. There must have been months of dust under there. Some of the pillowcases were stained and the room was not cleaned during the 4 days we were there. Rubbish bin in the bathroom was not emptied the whol… more

The room was fine, but they cleaning is awful. Had the misfortune to drop something under the bed. There must have been months of dust under there. Some of the pillowcases were stained and the room was not cleaned during the 4 days we were there. Rubbish bin in the bathroom was not emptied the whole time. We did get fresh towels every day but house keeping needs reviewed. There is no longer a bar in this hotel. Front desk staff were lovely but there's no way this deserves 4☆.
