This is a very good hotel! An excellent choice if being close to the Lake is important to you. Very clean, extremely quiet (no children) and the food was quite tasty, wide selection available. Their kitchen is excellent.. We are a retired American couple and selected this hotel based on the reviews, we never been at Heviz before. The entire experience was unique, very relaxing and satisfying. We would come back anytime...

We chose this hotel to celebrate our 5th-year anniversary and fulfill a long-held wish to visit Hévíz. The hotel proved extremely easy to find, benefiting from an excellent city-center location that placed us close to the renowned thermal lake and numerous local shops. Our welcome was seamless; check-in was smooth and quick, and we were pleased to find complimentary amenities for our anniversary waiting in our room—a genuinely nice and thoughtful touch. Our room itself was satisfying: it was clean and spacious, featuring a big balcony. Although it was located opposite the lift, it remained quiet and easily accessible. The hotel staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. From the attentive reception team, who explained everything clearly upon arrival, to the dining staff who were prompt in clearing dishes and checking on our drink orders during breakfast and dinner, the service was consistently nice. We booked the half-board option, which offered a satisfying dining experience via a Swedish table. While not comparable to large resort hotels, the selection covered everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, allowing me to enjoy all my favorite foods to start the morning. For convenience, we also appreciated being able to purchase our three-hour thermal lake tickets directly at the reception desk. Our departure was as efficient as our arrival; check-out was smooth and quick. Crucially, the reception staff was very nice, attentively listening when we offered feedback, showing a genuine commitment to improving the guest experience. However, we did encounter a few points of disappointment concerning the wellness facilities. The pool was a little cold for our comfort, though this feedback was well-received by the staff. Our main frustration stemmed from the booked sauna session. It was disappointing that the seans only lasted about 10 minutes instead of the expected 15. The session involved pouring water and ice onto the heater, sometimes fanning us with a towel, but it lacked the usual therapeutic additions like salt or honey rubs—only scents were used. Regarding attire, while it was not explicitly mentioned that swimwear was forbidden, the common expectation for a standard sauna seans is to be without a swimming suit. Unfortunately, the supposed no-swimsuit etiquette was not enforced, as several guests arrived in swimwear, which was quite annoying.

“Great hotel”

Great hotel in the centre of Hevitz few steps away from the famous Hevitz Thermal Lake. SPA is nice with saunas and one pool and one hot tub. Food delicious.

“Never again”

The wellness area is nice and tidy, but other than that, I can't say too much good. What made me write a review is that one of the ladies with glasses in the restaurant regularly publicly criticizes the guests who have just left, which I think is extremely humiliating.
